“State Government has emphasized on the training of tribal youth” – Smt. Anandiben Patel

Gujarat Chief Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel today laid foundation stone of Vocational Training Centre to be established on PPP mode at Muni Seva Ashram in Goraj of Vadodara district. The new centre will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 45 crore in which the state government will provide assistance of Rs. 8.50 crore.

On the occasion Smt. Patel said that the state government will provide training to one lakh youth every year. Also, Skill Development University will be set up in Vadodara. She shared that Muni Seva Ashram has trained about 700 tribal youth. In next five years about six thousand tribal youth will be given vocational training.

Smt. Patel added that the state government has started Kaushalyavardhan Kendra in more than 300 villages to train young people. She also lauded works of Muni Seva Ashram for renewable energy and organic farming initiatives. The CM Smt. Patel also laid the foundation stone of a new building of Parul University at Vaghodia during her visit to Vadodara. The University has donated Rs. 35 lakh in CM’s ‘Swachhta Nidhi’ on this occasion and promised to construct about 400 toilets at the cost of Rs. 45 lakh.

Health Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel, Collector Smt. Avantika Singh, DDO Dr. Kuldeep Arya and others were present on the occasion.
