CM announced Rs 2,380 crore for development projects in Sabarkantha district

Those, who have been looting the treasury for the last 40-50 years, are now opposing the development works.

Chief Minister Narendra Modi said, "An environment of stability and Sadbhavana prevaling in the state for the last ten years has helped establish a new political culture." It has also set new benchmarks for those indulging in the vote bank politics.

Rounding up his 25th District-wise Sadbhavana Mission at Himmatnagar, Sabarkantha District today, he veiled attack on the Congress for vote bank politics and said, "those, who have been looting the treasury for the last 40-50 years, are now opposing the development works. By adopting the mantra 'Sauno Saath Sauno Vikas' (all together, growth for all), we have shown how development is done, and Gujarat's exemplary development model has been adopted by the nation.”

CM stated, “goodwill of six crore Gujaratis has provided stability to the state. He further mentioned that Gujarat has reached new heights of development. This awareness arises the need for Medical colleges. In ten years , 41 Universities had started from 11 and youth have opportunities for Medical-Engineering education.

Addressing the people, CM said, “In past, in five years three Chief Ministers changed and political instability prevailed. In past, six crore gujaratis ‘sadbhav’ was missing and in last ten years, due to sadbhavana of six crore gujaratis, Gujarat has reached new heights of development. “ It is due to the hard efforts and determination, he added. He claimed that Gujarat's development would not be possible if he had played political games.

Talking about the survey of 2005 exposing malnutrition in the country, Modi said, "The survey was done way back in 2005 and our prime minister comes to know of it in 2012. How can any ruler of the country be so insensible? Gujarat has implemented a project to shield children from malnutrition."

Chief Minister announced Rs 2,380 crore for development projects in Sabarkantha district. He said that the government has given an in-principle approval to a Rs 225 crore project for developing a medical college-cum-hospital complex in Himmatnagar. A 100 crore project for Devni Mori for Buddha heritage culture project, highway by-pass for Himmatnagar and Idar and Shamlaji Tourism Project.
