CM inaugurates several developmental works on the occasion of Rabi Krishi Mahotsav at Aravalli district

On the occasion, she also dedicated and inaugurated various developmental works. This included dedicating 500 toilets, initiating Doodh Sanjivani Yojana for the schools in Modasa and inaugurating Cyber Kitli in Medhasan village. CM Smt Patel also lauded Aravalli district’s efforts as Bhiloda becomes second Wi-Fi enabled taluka, after Khedbrahma and Modasa, the first completely Wi-Fi enabled city of Gujarat. Wi-Fi connectivity and cyber kitli are the initiatives that will take PM’s Digital India vision, a long way, she added.

Talking about the success and scope of Rabi Krishi Mahotsav, CM Smt Patel said that with the motive to benefit the farmers, the state government has issued Rs 1100 crore aid-package apart from the assistance worth Rs 700 crore of Krushi Kalyan Melas. She informed that during this year’s Rabi Krishi Mahotsav, 34,869 farmers were distributed tractors, 16,956 were distributed rotavator, 16,099 were given oil engines and 18,177 farmers were given assistance of submersible pumps. Apart from this, 2,61,650 farmers and cattle-rearers were also given assistance under this Krishi Mahotasav, she added.

CM Smt Patel also announced that under Sujalam Sufalam Yojana, Narmada waters will now reach 3 dams of Gujarat- Vatrak, Meshwo and Mazum. This will benefit 608 villages and 3 cities of Gujarat, she added.

On the occasion, CM Smt Patel shared that Shramik Kalyan Mela will be held on December 25 at 20 districts across Gujarat, where more than one lakh labourers and wage-earners will be distributed assistance.
