Gujarat CM launches a gamut of initiatives to digitalise the state, at Khedbrahma, Sabarkantha

CM launched Seva Sadan (Prant Office) at Khedbrahma, Sabarkantha, that will be well-equipped and have modern facilities to serve the people more effectively and efficiently.

CM said: This modern office is set up for the better functioning of the taluka. It will help the administration to become more accountable and more transparent. I appeal the officials to keep the office clean and make sincere efforts to serve the people.

CM launched a bilingual, interactive website of Collector’s office

CM said: With the Collectorate’s website, every person will be able to be informed about the functioning of all the departments and details of various schemes and policies.

CM marked the launch of ‘Digital Setu’ – making all 32 villages of Khedbrahma WiFi-enabled. ‘Sakhi Mandals’ are handed over the responsibility of execution and implementation of WiFi enability.

CM said: Following PM Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Digital India’, this is our initiative to give birth to ‘Digital Khedbrahma’. This will be the first of its kind project where all the 32 villages of a taluka will be connected. For a progress of any village, the young generation needs to be connected with the world and updated with today’s information technology. Also, in the implementation of this process, women of ‘Sakhi Mandals’ will also be empowered and employed.

CM launched the initiative of ‘Swasthya Samvedna Sena’ under which interactive tablet devices where handed out to ASHA wokers, health workers and women of aanganwadi.

CM said: The modern tablet devices will equip the health workers, women and mothers and help them in providing better health services. Also, the devices will impart health education to the users. Our aim is to fight against the evils of malnutrition. I appeal the users of this device that record of every malnourished child should be maintained and then efforts should be made to improve his health.

CM launched ‘Doodh Sanjivani Yojana’, where 200 ml of milk in tetra packs will be daily distributed to every student of primary schools in Vijaynagar Taluka

CM said: Children needs nutrition for physical, emotional and mental growth and thus it is necessary that they should be healthy. I appeal the workers to measure the height and weight of every child before the daily distribution of milk packets start. So that every 3 or 6 months, their health and growth records can be compared. Also, children should pledge to keep their schools clean and not throw empty milk packets in the school premise. Teachers should encourage the use of dustbins in the schools.

CM launched the initiative of E-Shikshak, an android app that will connect 500 teachers and help in betterment of education system

CM said: Teachers need to be innovative in their approach with children. Students should be engaged in innovative learning processes. This android app will help the teachers to stay connected and share various innovative ideas. Also, the progress in various schools will be recorded through this app.

CM visited police headquarters of Khedbrahma

CM said: Police department are selflessly working for the society. As our responsibility, Government of Gujarat will work for the welfare of the police families and will also allot funds, if necessary.
