Guj CM dedicates developmental works in Bhavnagar, launches e-services facilitating ‘Digital Gujarat’

Gujarat Chief Minister Smt Anandiben Patel today commenced various developmental works worth Rs 35.22 crores in Bhavnagar, including drainage project, modernization of Sardar Baug and construction of new Zonal Office by performing Bhumi Pujan.

On the occasion, CM Smt Patel also launched Auto DCR project, online professional tax payment and birth-death certificate system for Bhavnagar. She said that rapidly moving towards mission of ‘Digital India’ and ‘Digital Gujarat’, Gujarat government is committed to digitally provide maximum government service to people of the state. The newly launched services will ensure transparency and help in smooth functioning of the system.

CM Smt Patel also spoke about Government of Gujarat’s decision to end over 40-year pending issue of Kaliyabid area of Bhavnagar by regularizing construction in the area. She said that the government is eager to resolve such pending issues in the benefit of the people. In her address, she exhorted the youth to stay away from false propaganda being spread to malign Gujarat.

CM Smt Patel also informed that in days to come there would be more than 50,000 employment opportunities in various department of Government of Gujarat. She urged the youth to work hard, apply for the same and wished them all success for a bright future.
