CM Lays Foundation Stone of Surat District Co-operative Bank’s Registered Office

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani laid e-digital foundation stone of The Surat District Co-operative Bank’s Registered Office which will be constructed with a cost of Rs. 28 crore at Surat. CM Shri Rupani clearly expressed his opinion that Gujarat is holding most reliable place in cooperative sector across the nation.

CM Shri Rupani praised the efforts of cooperative sector for transformation through banking services for the last-men along with farmers. He congratulated cooperative bank and said that as the state government has adopted pro-farmer approach by giving loan at 1%, this district cooperative bank has provided loan assistance at 0% under KCC.

Today, festivity atmosphere for honesty has been created across the nation with efforts made by our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. World is going forward with digital system. Our people going forward towards digital system, he added.

CM Shri Rupani handed over Micro ATM to Hajira of Choryasi Taluka, Dhamodala of Valod Taluka and Kelkui of Vyara Taluka co-operative society as a part of Digital India – Cashless India.

On this occasion Surat District Co-operative Bank and Siddhi Consultant handed over cheques worth Rs. 2,22,222/- and 1,11,111/- respectively to the Chief Minister for Kanya Kelvani Nidhi.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel, Gujarat BJP President Shri Jitubhai Vaghani, Food & Civil Supply Minister and Surat District In-charge Shri Jayesh Radadiya, Forest and Tourism Minister Shri Ganpat Vasava, Minister of State for Co-operation department Shri Iswarsinh Patel, Minister of State for Sports Department Shri Nanubhai Vasani, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Purnesh Modi, Whip Shri Ajaybhai Choksi, Surat District Co-operative Bank Manager Shri Nareshbhai Patel, MLAs and other dignitaries were remained present.
