“Government Is Sensitive to the Issues of Health and Education of Children” Says Guj CM During Praveshotsav at Modasa

Gujarat Chief Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel visited and enrolled 12 kids in Anganwadi, 47 children in Standard-1 and 85 students in Standard-9 at Sarvodaya Primary School in Modasa of Aravalli district on the 3rd and last day of annual Shala Praveshotsav and Kanya Kelavani drive for urban areas.

In her address, CM Smt. Patel congratulated children for their impressive performances promoting social awareness and stated that this proves that our children are full of talent, all we need is to imbibe the message into our life to eradicate social evils.

CM Smt. Patel also appealed teachers to adopt innovative methods for effective learning. She also stated that children are blessed with powerful grasping power and we must focus on improving their mathematics and language learning ability.

On this occasion, CM Smt. Patel shared that the state government keeps a close watch on secondary school enrolment to reduce dropouts after primary education. She further said that enrolment of girls in secondary school has improved due to continuous efforts of the state government like providing bicycles to girls who completed elementary school, making it easier for them to go to high-schools.

CM Smt. Patel shared that the first 8 years of a child’s life are vitally important for their overall development. Hence, the BJP-led state government is sensitive to the issues of health and nutrition of mother and child and ensures quality education for every child for their brighter future.

CM Smt. Patel also appealed to ensure institutional deliveries and infant health-care. She informed about the state government’s various initiatives to bring qualitative changes in health and education sector. She talked about state government’s successful efforts to nurture talents of children including statewide drawing competition, Bal Kavi Sammelan, etc. She wished newly enrolled children for their grand future and hoped that they will become foundation in building ‘Bhavya’ and ‘Divya’ Gujarat.
