It is going to make a mark on history. The State-level celebrations of 61st Republic Day is taking place at Surendranagar. Strong and resurgent India became republic; it is also the 61st anniversary of the Constitution of India. A rare milestone in the path forward, as part of the celebrations, impressive Shobha-Yatra of Indian Constitution is being planned.

Indian Constitution is revered and respected by many other democratic nations, all across the world. Our Constitution took shape under the leadership of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar, and our country became a Union Republic. India is obsessively committed to the welfare and development of deprived and exploited classes, by introducing positive interventions and Good-Governance.

As it is also the anniversary of Indian Constitution; Gujarat Government has decided to take out impressive and glorious Shobha-Yatra of Indian Constitution, to mark State-level Republic Day celebrations-2010.

Various nations have adopted democratic system of governance. But Gujarat is pioneer to take out the glorious march- Shobha-Yatra of Indian Constitution.

It is going to be a unique occasion, that Surendranagar celebrates 61st Republic-Day with gusto and patriotic fervour. Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi would flag-off the Shobha-Yatra of Indian Constitution. Not only that, around 60 women belonging to deprived and exploited classes would join it with Suvarna-Kalash to mark the celebrations of the Republic-Day, and also the golden jubilee of Gujarat attaining her Statehood. Pujan-Archan of Indian Constitution is to be performed; offering reverences to the Constitution, just as we offer our salutations to our Holy-Scriptures- Ramayana and Mahabharata.

The Shobha-Yatra of Indian Constitution recalls the memory of historic Shobha-Yatra took out by King Siddhraj Jaysinh of Patan, who had taken out the Shobha-Yatra of the Religious-Scripture authored by Jain Muni- Jain Saint- Hemachandracharyajee. History has recoded it with pride and glory. Entire nation is likely to derive inspirations from Gujarat.
