Gujarat CM conducts taluka-level Lok Samvad Setu program in Jamnagar

Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble CM Smt. Anandiben Patel, in a revolutionary new approach to solve the problems of people by reaching out to them and resolving issues on the spot, the third link of the ‘Lok Samvad Setu’ began from Jamnagar, today.

CM Smt. Patel remained present in front of the people and listened to over 79 concerns of the citizens of the state. Out of them, 76 problems were resolved immediately on the spot by her.

On this occasion, CM Smt. Patel informed that keeping in mind the suggestions of Taluka government, the state government decided to decentralize the administration of the state and made taluka level governments more answerable to the people. Therefore, laid emphasis on resolving issues at taluka level.

She also said that under the Lok Samvad Setu initiative a work ethic which addresses not only the concerns presented by the citizens, but also the issues that come under the notice of government officials has been established.

In order to address and satisfactorily resolve the issues presented by the people, CM Smt. Patel urged different departments of the government to collaborate with each other. She also highlighted the various success stories of the Gatisheel Gujarat campaign.

Elaborating on this subject, she informed the audience that in the first six months of the campaign, 138% work than the stipulated target had been completed. In the 6 months of the second phase, 128% work and in the third phase also more than 100% more work has been completed.

CM Smt. Patel during this Lok Samvad, attentively listened to the applicants and provided positive and satisfactory solution to their problems. In this session, 76 issues were resolved which consisted of 24 issues related to land measurement, 9 related to roads, and 6 related to electricity among many others.

She also handed out ownership certificates after resolving the objection petitions that cropped up after re-survey promulgation and also handed out KGP to beneficiaries.

On this occasion, Member of Parliament Poonamben Madam, MLA Shri Chimanbhai Shaparia, Meghjibhai Chavda and various other dignitaries remained present.
