Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi invites envoys to join Gujarat’s emergence as Global Business Hub

Gandhinagar, Thursday: In a get-together with Ambassadors and High Commissioners of 17 Nations, Chief Minister Narendra Modi today invited them to forge mutual partnership with Gujarat emerging as a global business hub.

The envoys from Africa, South East and Europe are on a visit to the state to have a glimpse of the Gujarat’s famous Nine Nights Festival, called Navratri, from September 28 to October 5, 2011.

Mr. Modi invited each one of them to the state’s biennial flagship event, Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit (VGSIS) scheduled in January 2013. He said it is not just an occasion to sign agreements for investment. Gujarat has established its role as a facilitator of promoting and encouraging in various sectors.

Prominent among those present included Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary K. Kailashnathan, Industries Principal Secretary M. Sahu, CM’s Secretary A.K. Sharma, Resident Commissioner at New Delhi Bharat Lal and Industries Commissioner B.V. Swain.
