Gujarat CM Urges Real Estate Developers to Ensure Welfare of Construction Workers, at Inauguration of CREDAI GUJCON EXPO 2015

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel while attending inaugural session of Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) GUJCON Expo 2015 called on developers to ensure that construction workers working on their project site avail benefits of government initiatives for the welfare and education of the underprivileged.

Laying emphasis on the collaboration between developers and government, Chief Minister assured them that Gujarat government will continue to engage with them in decision-making process.

On this occasion, as many real estate developers from other states appreciated land reform implemented by Gujarat, taking a step forward towards enhancing transparency and efficiency, CM Patel said that government would come up with online application and online approval system. She pointed out that Gujarat government worked for the welfare of every section of the society right from business houses, farmers, cattle-rearers to the last standing man.

Chief Minister called on developers to adopt environment friendly approach by developing technology where waste water in building structures can be recycled and used again for various purposes.

The 3-day convention and expo at Gujarat University Convention Hall will be attended by over 700 delegates from across the states and other parts of the country.
