Guj CM shares her vision of ‘Five Mantras’ for Gujarat’s progress towards becoming the ‘Smart State’

Gujarat Chief Minister Smt Anandiben Patel gave her address at State Plenary Session on the subject of ‘Investment Opportunities in States’ today at Mahatma Mandir. This session was held as a part of final day celebrations of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2015 hosted by Gujarat this year, at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar.

In her address, CM Smt Patel shared her vision of ‘Five Mantras’ of Gujarat’s progress towards becoming the ‘Smart State’. She said that Smart schemes for welfare, Smart economy, Smart governance, Smart energy and Smart human resources are the five mantras that the state government is focusing upon as a roadmap of Gujarat’s developmental journey.

CM Smt Patel gave away details of various schemes and initiatives taken by the state government in her address. She assured the Pravasi Bharatiyas that the state government is committed to extend support in all sectors required for investing in the state. She also appealed that people of India, NRIs and PIOs should unite and together contribute in the country’s inclusive and sustainable growth.

Home Minister of India Shri Rajnath Singh, along with Chief Ministers of various states of India also spoke at this occasion. State CMs present on the occasion included CM of Madhya Pradesh Shri ShivrajSingh Chouhan, CM of Punjab Shri PrakashSingh Badal, CM of Haryana Shri Manoharlal Khattar, CM of Goa Shri Laxmikant Parsekar, CM of Andhra Pradesh Shri N Chandrababu Naidu, CM of Kerala Shri Oomen Chandy, CM of Jharkhand Shri Raghubar Das and CM of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis.
