Gujarat CM Attends Lok Samvad Setu in Danta and Amirgadh Talukas of Banaskantha

Guj CM Smt. Anandiben Patel while attending Lok Samvad Setu at Danta and Amirgadh talukas of Banskantha district said that the government has initiated a unique approach to solving people’s problems by going to their doorsteps. This approach has been initiated with an aim to facilitate efficient and immediate solution to the problems presented by citizens. Hon’ble CM Smt. Patel received a total of 128 questions related to 27 departments at Danta while at Amirgadh there were 121 questions related to 21 departments out of which most of the questions were resolved on the spot.

In addition to listening to the people’s problems and resolving most of them at the spot, CM Smt. Patel also provided guidance to relevant departments about solving the unresolved issues of the people. CM Smt. Patel added that citizens are at the centre of democracy and as a result, the government has made taluka and district level administration more responsible and answerable to the people so that their issues and problems are resolved at the taluka and district level itself. Coordination between different departments is necessary for satisfactory resolution of people’s issues and the government has stressed on such coordination right from the beginning. CM Smt. Patel while highlighting the various initiatives of Gatisheel Gujarat added that a work culture has been developed in the government which resolves not only the issues that are uncovered during Lok Samvad Setu but also resolves immediately the issues which come under the notice of government officials and administration.

CM Smt. Patel also said that Danta taluka of Banaskanth District being a tribal region and in a mountainous area, the government has taken special steps to provide facilities in this region and she has also instructed officials to ensure the welfare of citizens living in forest regions by working quickly and efficiently on providing basic infrastructure like roads, electricity, and ample water. During the Lok Samvad, CM Smt. Patel also handed out a letter of approval to the president of the Taluka Panchayat for allocation of 15 acres of land for constructing a lake in Rangpur village of Danta taluka. Also, she handed out order sheets of the changes done during land resurvey to landholders. Leelaben from Pethapur village of Danta taluka also received a cheque of Rs. 20,000 under the Sankatmochan initiative.

On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Home Shri Haribhai Chaudhary, MLA and District President of BJP Shri Keshaji Chauhan, Secretary in Charge Shri Arunkumar Solanki, District Collector Shri Dilip Rana, District Development Officer Shri Gaurav Dahiya and various other dignitaries remained present.
