Hon. CM Attends Atmiya Mahila Adhiveshan at Haridham, Sokhda

Gujarat Chief Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel today confidently stated that “To generate feelings of patriotism in the mind of people, we need to put literatures into their hands, not weapons.”

Addressing a large gathering at the ‘International Atmiya Mahila Sammelan’ held at Haridham in Shokhda, near Vadodara this evening, terming the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as the ‘Vishwa Purush’, the Chief Minister said, “Under his able guidance, India would surely attain the status of vishwa guru through instilling spiritual power among the 125-crore Indians.”

Expressing her absolute displeasure over the killing of female fetus in the Indian society, Smt. Patel said, “We must rebuild the well balance society by nicely nurturing, protecting, educating and teaching our culture to the girl-child.” The Chief Minister urged the prominent persons of the society to ensure that that every home must have in-house toilet facility, educating to every girl-child, and every family must welcome the girl-child.

On the occasions, the Chief Minister was honoured by over 7,000 – national and international – Satsang Mandals. Smt. Patel dedicated her received honour to nearly 3-crore women power of the state.

Others who spoke on the occasion included Sadhvis – Sarvajitben and Sahajben – of The Yogi Divine Society. Those who graced the occasion included Member of Parliament Smt. Ranjanben Bhatt, Rajkot’s city mayor Rakshaben Bodiya, MLAs – Mr. Yogeshbhai Patel, Mr. Jitubhai Sukhdiya, and Smt. Manishaben Vakil, and others.
