Gujarat’s ‘Sadbhavna Mission’ has rattled Delhi ‘sultanate’, its message has also reached Karachi and Rawalpindi – CM Narendra Modi

Gujarat Chief Minister observes daylong fast at Vadodara

Ahmedabad, Thursday: Even as Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi observed daylong fast as part of his ‘Sadbhavna Mission’ at Vadodara today, he said its message has rattled the present Delhi sultanate and has rather reached Karachi and Rawalpindi also.

Rounding up the day’s event, CM Narendra Modi said that his Sadbhavna Mission launched on September 17 last to consolidate the last decade’s efforts to spread the message unity, peace and harmony has started paying dividend in various forms. Pakistan’s business delegation which recently visited Gujarat has evinced interest to forge relations with the State.

He said the mantra for development is very simple. It is rising above the conflict course and pursuing the path of co-operation. Gujarat has set a benchmark for development and other states would have to follow suit.

As part of Sadbhavna Mission, he said, Gujarat Government has decided to strengthen such projects like ‘Mission Mangalam’ to empower women in the state. He informed that the Government has decided to help the women’s Sakhi Mandals form a State-level Marketing Federation to promote their activities.
