Gujarat CM commences developmental works at Pavagadh Yatradham

On the occasion of the first day of the auspicious Navratri festival, Gujarat CM performed ground-breaking ceremony and commenced works of over Rs 100 crore including expansion of 2450 stairs leading to the temple of Kalika Mata, electrification of temple complex, CCTV cameras. With developmental works such as Satsang hall, toilet block, food court and other amenities, pilgrims will have a pleasant experience.

CM Anandiben Patel appealed youth of Gujarat to apply for over 55,000 jobs openings in various government departments. She also urged people to avail benefit of extended 5 year age-limit for government jobs as part of ‘Mukhya Mantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojna’.

Stating that Government is committed to provide training to youth applying for the jobs, Chief Minister appealed youth to gain maximum benefit of the SPIPA center that has been set up in Godhra. She informed that in coming 5 years, seats in SPIPA will be increased to 1000 from current 340 seats.

Expressing desire to implement recently announced Mukhya Mantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojna, CM Anandiben Patel determined to release financial aid for education before Diwali.

Gujarat CM said though the temple of Kalika Mata has been standing tall since ages, it was Shri Narendra Modi who as Chief Minister initiated the process of developing pilgrimages to not only avail better facilities to visiting pilgrims but also establish these locations as tourism spots to augment employment opportunities for the local people.

Chief Minister expressing concern over less water in dams and lack of rain in the areas of Panchmahal, Dahod and Middle Gujarat, assured that there will be no shortage of drinking water and fodder for cattle.

On this occasion, CM stated that fearing defeat in upcoming local civic body elections, Congress is misleading people. She, however, affirmed that people who are aware of the developmental works and measures taken by the state government during Amreli-Banaskantha floods have not fallen prey to false propaganda spread by Congress. CM exhorted people to pledge their vote for development and progress.
