CM attends an event organised by Brahma Samaj in Vadodara

Hon. CM Smt. Anandiben Patel has appealed to all the women tycoons and influencers to perform thier duties towards society. In the Brahm Samaj event for ‘Brahmashakti Narishakti’, Smt. Patel requested women to take up contributing to the country as one of their priorities.

Smt. Anandiben felicitated women of the Brahm Samaj for their distinctive contribution in social service. Vadodara MLA Smt. Ranjanben Bhatt, Dy. Mayor Smt. Sunitaben Shukla, Dr. Gargi Pandit, the ACP of Vadodara Ms. Megha Pandya Tevar and National Bravery Award winner Ms. Zeel Marathe were felicitated.

At this occasion, Smt. Anandiben also unveiled the book written by MLA Smt. Manishaben Vakil about the developments in her constituency over the past three years. She also distributed Winter kits to about 1500 students of about 10 Anganwadis with the financial support of MLA Smt. Manishaben.

Hon. CM also launched the ‘Run for Women Safety’ website developed by the Brahm Samaj to boost safety of women. She also shared that it is in Indian Culture to worship women. In today’s day and age, when women are performing at par with men, it is the need of the hour for women to be respected and honoured

Smt. Patel appealed to the women to take it on to themselves to perform their duties towards the country diligently, and do whatever they can to help the country’s progress. She also spoke of the Clean India Campaign augmented by the PM Shri Narendra Modi, and asked the women of Vadodara to make it their mission too.

The President of Gujarat Brahm Samaj Shri Shaileshbhai Mehta (Sotta) shared with everyone the outlines of the various activities carried out by the trust. He also presented Smt. Anandiben Patel a cheque of Rs. 2 lakh for the Swacch Gujarat campaign and Rs. 2.51 lakhs for the Girl Child Education fund.
