Hon. CM Smt. Anandiben Patel launches three books penned by senior bureaucrat Shri Bhagyesh Jha

Content Hon. CM of Gujarat, Smt Anandiben Patel today launched three Gujarati books written by senior bureaucrat of Gujarat Government, Shri Bhagyesh Jha, at Tagore Hall in Ahmedabad.

The books penned by Shri Bhagyesh Jha, Secretary – Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department, are ‘Samay Stotra’, ‘Aamukh’ and ‘Sankochayelu Maun’. On this occasion, CM Smt Patel complimented Shri Bhagyeshbhai for his thought provoking books and said that she knows Bhagyeshbhai as an able administrator as well as a litterateur.

Giving information about the books, she said that ‘Samay Stotra’, an essay collection, portrays everyday life and echoes the shrinking existence of Gujarati language in today’s information era. ‘Aamukh’ is a compilation of articles written by bhagyeshbhai in ‘Gujarat’, the biweekly magazine of Gujarat Government and ‘Sankochayelu Maun’ is a wonderful poetry collection.

CM Smt Patel pointed out that various forms of arts should get the opportunity of expression in the society. We must preserve and revive our magnificent ancient heritage of art and culture, she added. She also mentioned about ‘Vanche Gujarat’ campaign initiated by Shri Narendra Modi. She appealed to create an atmosphere to inculcate morale values in children with the help of illustrated children literature. She also emphasised to make art and literature a means of mass education.

CM Smt Patel did not miss this opportunity to talk about cleanliness campaign. She appealed the present litterateurs to spread the message of cleanliness with their hard-hitting and heart-touching writings.

Pujya Shri Morari Bapu and eminent humourist Shri Vinod Bhatt also shared dais and released books. Padmashri Tarak Mehta, Shri Raghuvir Chaudhari, Shri Chinu Modi, Shri Dolat Bhatt and many other eminent poets and litterateurs were also present on this occasion.:
