Gujarat CM Shri Rupani dedicates and launches development projects worth Rs. 499 crore at Surat

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani today dedicated and unveiled 30 projects worth Rs. 499 crore including 2933 LIG houses built in Athava, Vesu, Katargam and Rander zones at South Gujarat University Convention Hall in Surat. He said everybody should realize the four pillars of this Government, Transparent, Decisive, Sensitive and Progressive administration. He expressed commitment of Government for well being and welfare of people.

CM Shri Rupani said that ‘Roti, Kapda aur Makan’ are basic need of ordinary man. Government has made available the opportunity for realizing the “own house” to poor and middle families. Aiming for making Gujarat slum free in coming years, Government has given priority to make available cheap houses to economic weaker sections.

He said that Gujarat is developing at all fronts due to result oriented works of State Government to realize the dream of development of our Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi. Government has performed social responsibility by taking sensitive decisions towards poor, deprived, dalits and women. He also said that up to forth coming March, recruitment will be done in 67 thousand jobs so that no youngster of the state should remain jobless. He conveyed best wishes for happy and prosperous life to house beneficiaries.

CM Shri Rupani also awarded prizes to winners of ‘Make My Surat Smart City Yojna’ and also launched Surat Data Portal – data portal.gov.in, computerization draw of 115 EWS, 1030 LIG houses, along with other dignitaries.

On this occasion Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel, Ministers Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Shri Jayesbhai Radadiya, Shri Nanubhai Vasani, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Purnesh Modi, MP Smt Darshnaben Jardosh, Surat Mayor Smt Asmitaben, local MLAs and office bearers also remained present.
