CM inaugurates Digital AVMS RTO Check-post Equipped with Laser Technology at Shamlaji

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani dedicated India’s first laser technology based advanced AVMS RTO check-post at Shamlaji of Aravalli district today. The check-post is equipped with advanced ray technology with a cost of Rs. 4.72 crore. Along with this program, CM Shri Rupani also laid foundation stones of various developmental works worth Rs. 30 crore in tribal area of Aravalli district.

CM Shri Rupani expressed his commitment to make the traffic check-post well-equipped with advanced tools for making it full of transparency and corruption-free. All the 16 check-posts across the state will be made advanced, automatic and transparent with a cost of Rs. 35 crore during next year. The state government will use this income for welfare of poor, deprived and last-person of the state. This decision has been taken with a view to eliminate irregularities and interventions done by middle-men. We have fulfilled our commitment to provide transparent, sensitive, decisive and progressive government to the people, he added.

He briefed people about various pro-people steps taken by this government for all-round development of poor and tribal people, such as schools in tribal areas of the state, forest authority letters to Vanbandhus and assistance to sickle cell anemia patients etc. State government is committed for strict implementation of ban on hukkah-bars and liquor prohibition to make our youth free from evil of bad habits, he added.

On the occasion, Transportation Minister Shri Vallabhbhai Kakadiya, Principal Secretary to Transportation Department Shri Vipul Mitra, Commissioner of Transportation Department and Secretary In-charge to Aravalli District Shri R. M. Jadav, MP Shri Deepsinh Rathod, Chairman of Tribal Development Corporetion Smt. Ramilaben Bara, Former Ministers Shri Jaysinh Chauhan, Shri V. D. Zala, Himmatnagar MLA Shri Rajendrasinh Chavda, former MLA Smt. Bhikhiben Parmar, District Collector Smt. Shalini Agarwal, DDO Shri Vishal Gupta, local leaders, office-bearers and local people in huge number were remained present.
