Gujarat CM inaugurates Sweetened Condensed Milk Plant of Dudhsagar Dairy and new building of ‘Sahyog’ in Mehsana

Guj CM Smt. Anandiben Patel inaugurated Sweetened Condensed Milk plant of Dudhsagar Dairy situated in Mehsana and new building of ‘Sahyog’ Sweets and Nakeem managed by the dairy’s Employee Cooperative Association in Mehsana today. She also distributed kits to beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana, flagged off Ujala mobile van and distributed kits and also launched Mehsana Tourism Application.

On the occasion, CM Smt. Patel said that due to years of efforts, today, milk and items made from milk are easily available. Lakhs of people are being provided employment through the milk business. She added that a common man can disassociate himself from poverty by joining the cattle rearing business.

Commending the idea behind the Sahyog building and its construction, CM Smt. Patel said that due to the cooperation of employees this noble task of public welfare became possible. She further added that society is influenced by such acts of cooperation and constructive development and a large number of people will get employment through this plant.

CM Smt. Patel lauded the efforts of the employees of Dudhsagar Dairy and said that many such organizations are active in the state as well as the nation but through transparent administration and cooperation these employees have managed to create a developed organization.

Talking about the government’s aim to reduce electricity expenditure, CM Smt. Patel said that it is the goal of her government to distribute 1 crore LED bulbs in the state under the Pradhan Mantri Ujala Yojana. Giving details about the Prime Minister’s appeal to the citizens of the nation to give up gas subsidies so that the poor of the nation can have access to gas stoves, CM Smt. Patel said that well-off citizens responded positively to the appeal. She also provided detailed explanation about the various initiatives undertaken by the Gujarat government like toilet in every house, cleanliness campaign etc.

Talking about army personnel who dedicate their lives to the service of the nation, CM Smt. Patel said that the state and the central government are receptive towards their needs and requirements. Moreover, she said that the government has made provisions to provide Narmada water to 45 such places in the state where defense personnel are deployed for the protection of the nation.

CM Smt. Patel appealed to the people of the state to take benefits of various initiatives launched by the state government like free treatment of breast cancer, cervical cancer, diabetes, cleft lip as well as 50% assistance in fees of college students and cycle distribution to girls for going to schools etc.
