In a meet of Gujarat Adijati Salahkar Parishad presided by Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi, State Government's commitment for an inclusive growth of tribals was expressed. The members in the meet said that it is their responsibility to think about actualizing the idea of tribal welfare and implementation of constitutional provisions and laws related to tribals.

Chief Minister today arranged a meet on receiving the letters from five of the committee members. As there was no agenda proposed by Governor, Chief Minister took points mentioned in the letters of all five members as the agendas for meeting.

Tribal Welfare Minister said in the meeting that the Indian Government should fairly carry out its duty of implementing the constitutional provisions and laws related to tribals. Panchayat Principal Secretary Shri R.M.Patel in his presentation said that Gujarat Government has made necessary provisions under ‘Panchayat Extension to the Schedule Area' suggested by Bhuriya Committee.

State Minister Shri Jaswantsinh Bhabhor, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Harshadbhai Vasava, MLAs Shri Mohansinh Rathava, Dr. Anil Joshiyara, Amarsinh Vasava, Pareshbhai Vasava, Ishwarbhai Vahia, Mansinh Bhabhor, Babarbhai Bhoya, Ramanbhai Patkar, Smt Bhartiben Rathod, Shri Abhesinh Tadavi, Gulsinh Rathava, Ganpatbhai Vasava, Nareshbhai Patel, Vijaybhai Patel, Chief Secretary Shri A.K.Joti, Secretary to Tribal Welfare Shri A.M.Tiwari and Commissioner Smt Shahamina Husain were present in the meet.
