Gujarat CM launches development projects at 10 tourist places of Rajkot district on Ram Navami

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani today took part in function organized at Ram Mandir on the holy festival of Ram Navami by Khant Rajput Samaj at Mevesa Village of Rajkot. He performed groundbreaking ceremony of development works at cost of worth Rs. 13.70 Crore of 10 tourist destinations. He said that State government is working for the development of all caste, gender and religion. Original purpose of Ram Rajya is benefit to all, in which everyone’s benefit and development is included, he added.

Focusing on the current amendments-2017 passed by the Gujarat Assembly for Animal Protection, CM Shri Rupani said that cow is the symbol of Indian Culture. In our rural agro-based economy cow plays the role of Mother. Hindu community, saints and monks are demanding for cow breeding and protection from years. This law has been passed taking into consideration killing of cows bred. Referring to the provisions made he said that the persons killing cow bred will be imprisoned for life. Animal trafficking has been banned during night time.

Speaking about the law of Drug Prohibition, CM Shri Rupani said that with the strict implementation of drug prohibition, alcohol sellers, consumers and drinkers will be strictly punished. State government is committed to divert the youth going towards the wrong track.

CM Shri Rupani said that the children’s from poor families will get relief from the bulky fees collected by the private schools for education, children’s from poor and middle class will get education in good schools with affordable fees.

Speaking about the coordination of agriculture and animal husbandry to lead the farmers towards prosperity, CM Shri Rupani said that green revolution will be created in Saurashtra due to “SauniYojana”. Farmers from Saurashtra will be able to make so many grains that would be enough for the whole world.

CM Shri Rupani Bowed down and offered prayer to Lord Ram. He was informed about the different development works in Jetpur- Gondal by Minister Shri JayeshbhaiRadadiya. He was greeted by many organizations of Jetpur Taluka.

Details about the groundbreaking of development of tourist destinations include Ram Mandir of Mevasa, KhodiyarMandir of Varadungra, Shiv Mandirs of Kerali, Teo Shiv Mandirs of Mespar and Hadamtala, Momai Mata Mandir of Thorala and 10 development works from Sodvadar and Darbargadh. Works of roads, water, garden, electricity, toilets and entry gates will be done.

CM Shri Rupani also launched the tourism mobile application made by the District administration, District Tourism Corporation. This application consists of pictorial Information of all tourist places in Rajkot District. The content for the application was provided by the Rajkot Information Department.

On the occasion MP Shri VitthalbhaiRadadiya, MLA Shri JayrajsinhJadeja, Shri PravinbhaiMankadiya, Leader Shri VeljibhaiSarvaiya, Shri MandhatasinhJadeja, Former Minister Mrs. Jashumatibenkorat, Shri D.K.Sakhiya, Shri SubashbhaiBambhroliya, Shri JayantibhaiDhol, Shri Jesukhbhai Gujarati, Shri Bhupatbhai Solanki, Collector Dr. Vikrant Pandey and leaders were remained present.
