Gujarat CM conducts state-level Swagat Online program

Gujarat CM Smt. Anandiben Patel remained present in the state-wide public grievance redressal program Swagat Online and listened to the grievances of the citizens of the state and gave specific instructions to relevant officials on the spot to resolve the issues.

CM Smt. Patel gave specific instructions to collectors of various districts of the state and district officials to deal strictly with anti-social elements and people who inflict damage to government land – properties. CM Smt. Patel firmly stated that illegal acquisition of government land or land of poor people will not be tolerated and the perpetrators would be dealt with strictly.

During the program, CM Smt. Patel instructed district officials regarding various issues and said that the police force should adopt strict measures against anti-social elements who participate in the sale of illegal liquor in the state to ensure strict implementation of the prohibition on liquor. In a bid to expand the scope of Lok Samvad Setu in the state, CM Smt. Patel advised that senior district official teams which visits various villages in the state should inspect the progress of various projects like cleanliness campaign, toilet construction drive, education, health and construction of milk houses for women committees along with solving the issues of people during their visits and also spread the word about the benefits of Lok Samvad Setu to the people of the village.

CM Smt. Patel specifically instructed that district officials of various departments like education, road-housing, education etc. should also remain present in the meetings of Coordination-Complaint Committees of districts. She also suggested that camps be organized at district levels to expand the scope of benefits of various flagship initiatives of the central government like Jandhan Yojana, Mudra Yojana etc.

On the occasion, Secretary to CM Shri Ajay Bhadoo and other secretaries remained present.
