Gujarat CM Smt Anandiben Patel releases a book compiling works of great writer Late Shri Vajubhai Kotak, founder of ‘Chitralekha’, at Ahmedabad this evening as a part of his birth centenary celebrations.

Smt Patel talked about initial struggle phase of ‘Chitralekha’ and lauded the success of the most popular and prestigious Gujarati weekly. She praised the efforts of Smt Madhuriben Kotak, who took charge of the magazine after the untimely demise of her husband and founder editor of Shri Vajubhai Kotak. She added that ‘Chitralekha’ has always recognized the winds of change to improve the content and cultivated the habit of healthy reading in well cultured Gujarati families.
