Chief Minister is getting a stream of letters, greetings and blessings from prominent citizens,santsandmahants, leaders of cross-sections of the society and social organizations expressing their willingness to take part in mission

Gandhinagar, Wednesday:Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will observe fast for Sadbhavna Mission District Abhiyan at Navsari in south GujaratonThursday, October 20, 2011as atapasya,after taking the people’s blessings.

Even as the Chief Minister’s first district-level Sadbhavna Mission got unprecedented response at Dwarka in Jamnagar district, an equally unprecedented mood is building up among the people to join his day’s fast at Navsari, Gujarat Government’s spokespersons-ministers Jay Narayan Vyas and Saurabh Patelsaid here today.

Giving details of the preparation, the ministers said that the Chief Minister is getting a stream of letters, greetings and blessings from prominent citizens, santsandmahants, leaders of cross-sections of the society and social organizations expressing their willingness to take part in mission. The number has swelled to 5,000. It will be held at Lunsikui Maidan at Navsari with people coming from Gandevi, Vansda, Chikhli, Jalapor and Navsari talukas.

CM will begin his fast after paying his obeisance to Gandhi Bapu at his favourite ashram amidst rendering of bhajans and prayers and seeking blessings of religious heads. Notable among them are Parsis’ Harshan Mogulm Prajapita Brahmakumaris’ Gitaben, Christians’ Robot Mekiodo and Muslims’ Shaikh Mustinsheel, besides Jagat Pawan Swami, Dahyabhai of Moksha Marg, Bhratanandji Maharaj of Bharat Sevashram Sangh and Jainacharya Rakrakshit Vijay Maharaj sending their greetings.

Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, MP from Orissa, will be present on the occasion.

CM Narendra Modi will inaugurate a painting exhibition by students of Navsari’s famous Amalsad Kala Vidyalaya. Parsi community will put up a wall painting at Sadbhavna Corner. Tribal people living in forest areas would narrate on the occasion the economic change in their life after the Vanbandhu Yojna initiated by the Chief Minister.

Even as the Chief Minister is scheduled to observe a day’s fast in each of the 26 districts and seven municipal corporations in theGujarat, the spokespersons-ministers appealed to the people to join the Sadbhavna Mission for peace, harmony and brotherhood.
