As Chintan Shibir concludes, Guj CM urges Team Gujarat to convert extract of Shibir into time-bound action plan

Gujarat Chief Minister Smt Anandiben Patel, in the concluding session of three days Chintan Shibir, appealed to the Karmayogis of the government to serve with devotion, competency, sensibility and dedication with result oriented approach in the interest of the people. She also told to prepare a vision document on the deliberations and asked to convert extracts of the group discussions into time-bound action plan which will be reviewed every three months.

The eighth edition of three day Chintan Shibir was organized at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar last three days where the Council of Ministers, senior bureaucrats and other decision makers took part.

CM Smt Patel, for the first time in Chintan Shibir, invited stakeholders from the non-government fields like progressive farmers, leaders of various co-operative societies, etc. for experience sharing and interaction. She also witnessed presentations from district administration on best practices undertaken by them in different areas. She stated that pertinent inputs from these representatives made the exercise even more meaningful. She also suggested to include police and forest officials in Chintan Shibir from next time.

CM Smt Patel expressed her delight while presenting awards to Collectors and DDOs for their exemplary work. She shared that the government has decided to also institute awards for all class of employees upto class 4, giving them requisite training to improve their performances. In her valedictory address, she urged Team Gujarat to lay special emphasis on simplification of process at every level. She told to set up a mechanism for sharing and replicating best practices and success stories across various districts of Gujarat.

CM Smt Patel stated that these three days gave an opportunity to ministers and bureaucrats to closely interact with each other, share ideas, insights and engage in enlightening discussions. She also expressed her confidence by saying that with reaffirmed commitment and rejuvenated spirit, Team Gujarat will continue to work hard towards the vision of ‘Gatisheel Gujarat’ in its true sense.
