Seize the moment; seize the glory of Kachchh desert under the fool-moon. Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi termed it as a precious gift from the nature. Kachchh carnival, the vortex of Kachchhi culture, swirling sound and rhythm would be a life time memory. Chief Minister and the tourists arrived at Ghordo Tent-city to enjoy camel-ride under the fool-moon. It truly revealed the soul of the desert.
 
Cultural music spiced with exotic beauty of the desert under the fool-moon had really mesmerized the audience. According to legend, ‘Kachchhdo Baremas'-Other regions have their importance for one season, where as Kachchh blooms the whole year.
 
Chief Minister observed that Carnival is bound to be a life-time memory. The tourists who have enjoyed the carnival would become brand-ambassadors of Ranotsav. They would present the glory of Kachchh before the world. Drawing up the roadmap to assume leadership in tourism, Chief Minister reiterated his confidence that Gujarat has it all to position Gujarat's Tourism on the global map. The glorious cultural legacy and beauty of desert would continue to attract tourists.
 
National and International dignitaries-tourists savored the carnival celebrations in august presence of the Chief Minister. State Minister Shri Vasanbhai Aahir, Chairman -Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Shri Kamlesh Patel, M.P. Smt. Punamben Jat, MLAs, and district office-bearers worked whole heatedly under the guidance of Tourism Minister Shri Jaynarayan Vyas .Chief Minister congratulated them for their up-scale efforts.
 
His love for nature, Chief Minister enjoyed the desert-ride without security-cover.
