Gujarat CM Lays Foundation Stone of 4-lane ‘Narmada Maiya’ Bridge connecting Bharuch & Ankleshwar

Gujarat Chief Minister Smt Anandiben Patel today laid the foundation stone of Rs 309.10-crore four-lane bridge to come up over river Narmada connecting Bharuch and Ankleshwar. She named the new bridge to be built besides Golden Bridge as ‘Narmada Maiya’ bridge.

On the occasion, CM Smt Patel dedicated Dudhdhara dairy’s plant with the capacity of processing 2 lakh litres milk. This will benefit thousands of cattle-rearers across villages of Bharuch district. She also dedicated a newly constructed veterinary polyclinic for better treatment of cattle.

In her address, CM Smt Patel shared Government of Gujarat’s recent pro-farmers and pro-cattle rearers decision that enables agriculture related cooperative institutions will now be allocated government land at 10% to 50% concession on current jantri rates. She urged more and more farmers and cattle rearers to avail benefit of this government initiative.

Taking forward the vision of ‘Digital India’, CM Smt Patel also dedicated website for Bharuch-Ankleshwar Urban Development Authority (BAUDA) that will enable online file-tracking system in the benefit of people.
