PM dedicates Extra Dosed Four Lane Bridge over Narmada on NH8 to nation

Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi dedicated Extra Dosed Four Lane Bridge over river Narmada to nation in Bharuch today. The bridge has been created with a cost of Rs. 379 crore located on the Ahmedaba-Mumbai national highway (NH8) and over river Narmada passing through Bharuch. He also performed e-groundbreaking of iconic Bharuch bus port. The bus port will be created on PPP basis in 21453 sq. meter area.

PM Shri Modi expressed commitment and said that the determination of India to become super-power will be fulfilled through highway to I-way. My government has performed progressive work in infrastructural facilities through sustainable networks of railway and roads. Now it is my vision to provide world level facility to 2.50 lakh rural areas of the nation by connecting them with I-way of information technology. As a part we already have established I-way network in 68000 villages. Such important projects gives new momentum in development story of nation and state as well, he added.

PM Shri Modi mentioned about the all round development of Sagarmala Project for the coastal areas of nation and Bharatmala Project for comprehensive development of roads and with combination of both of them to carve a port lead development and said that as a result of integrated network of the roads accidents may occur rarely.

Describing the ground breaking of Bus stand as a step towards the development of common man, Shri Modi said, infrastructural facilities will reach to the poorest person is the only aim of the Government. In this context he clarified that their Government policy aims to provide houses to each and every person till year 2022.

Lauding the slogan of “Narmade, Sarvade”, Shri Modi said that for the development of the nation Dream- Desire and Ability is must. He expressed his delight to dedicate the project to transform the ancient city of Bharuch for the well being of the people. During the election campaign in Uttar Pradesh, people were showing monument of development work. Dahej is not only the ornament of Bharuch but also of the nation.

PM Shri Modi said that if your vision and intention are pure and perfect than you can reach success. He even expressed concept of Central Government to convert about 8 State Highways as National Highways. Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani today termed dedication of Bharuch Narmada Bridge and Opal Plant inauguration as ‘Triveni Sangam’. He expressed pleasure because extra dosed bridge built with worth Rs. 380 crore has realized in the ruling of BJP’s progressive leadership.

He also said that Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi has fulfilled the desire of bring Narmada water to Kutch-Saurashtra by permitting to install gates on Narmada Dam in just 17 days. Gates of Narmada Dam will be installed before monsoon; will realize the dream of 6.5 Gujaratis to visualize Narmada Dam with full of water.

CM Shri Rupani said that Prime Minister has also cleared the way for growth of Ankleshwar-Panoli and also created new opportunities for new industries and employment. Shri Narendrabhai Modi led Union Government has taken many farmers oriented decisions like approval of groundnut oil export, purchase of tur dal on MSP and efficient prices to cotton growing farmers. Jetty is also available for pilgrims coming for Narmada Maiya Parikrama, he added.

Union Minister for Road and Transport Shri Nitinbhai Gadkari, Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Nitinbhai Patel and Bharuch MP Shri Mansukhbhai Vasava gave occasional speeches.
