Guj CM Instructs Officials to Strictly Follow Government Guidelines to Bring Transparency During Lok Samvad Setu Program at Keshod in Junagadh

Gujarat Chief Minister Smt Anandiben Patel at Lok Samvad Setu in Junagadh’s Keshod taluka, redressed more than 60 grievances of Keshod town and nearby places on the spot today.

On this occasion, CM Smt Patel stated that collective effort towards development is the only solution to the public issues. She also said that GDCR guidelines must be followed by the officers to bring transparency in government works and granting permissions.

CM Smt Patel warned mafias and assured farmers that the state government will stand by them and will take strict action to curb the harassment. She also appealed citizens to take loan under schemes like MUDRA instead of unauthorized moneylenders. She also urged party workers to spread awareness about such schemes to save poor people from the deadly grip of illegal usurers.

CM Smt Patel asked the officials to take a humane approach and directed them how to tackle the problems to the satisfaction of the complainants. She directed officials to take prompt action for issues including land acquisition, electricity, roads, water supply, drainage, revenue and mattes related to Municipality and also announced that Lok Samvad Setu will be held every four months. In next round of Lok Samvad Setu, besides taking new questions from citizens, she will personally review status of issues raised in this round, she added.

Alongside, CM Smt Patel dedicated 11 development works worth Rs.11.09 crore and launched new public welfare works worth Rs.12.89 crore during her visit to the town. She flagged-off ‘Abhayam’ van from the venue as well. CM Smt Patel also held a review meeting with top officials of the district. She stated that the state government is committed to provide better facilities and resolving the problems of the citizens in every corner of Gujarat.

Rajya Sabha member Shri Chunibhai Gohel, MLAs Shri Mahendrabhai Mashru and Shri Arvindbhai Ladani, President of Keshod Municipality Smt Labhuben Pipaliya, local BJP leaders, In-charge Secretary Shri Narmawala, DIG Shri Anarwala, Collector Shri Alok Kumar Pandey, DDO Shri Ajay Prakash, senior officers of the concerned departments and citizens remained present on this occasion.
