42 teachers honored with ‘Best Teacher’ prizes on Teacher’s Day

Gujarat State Governor Hon’ble Mr. O.P. Kohli today honored 42 teachers with best teacher prizes on the eve of Teacher’s day. Hon’ble Governor also remembered Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan for his life dedicated after education. He said that Teachers should keep in mind education dedication of Dr. Radhakrishnan and aim for new height of their duty.

He said that teacher’s aim should not make child-student exam oriented for success, but they should prepare students for capable-equipped future generation. Teachers should know the skills laying in the child-student and then has to develop his personalities and join into development of nation.

While, Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani greeted to whole Teachers Community, who is the creators of Stat’s best future generation on the eve of Teacher’s day.

During the teachers honor programme Hon’ble Governor, Chief Minister and Assembly Speaker and other Minister honored 42 teachers with Rs. 51 thousand each, shawal and total Rs. 21.42 cash prizes were awarded to teachers by State Government.

Mr. Rupani today inspiring the teachers said that Teacher and Doctor, both is noble professional. Their service to society, duty performance and character development are the responsibilities for wakening nation love, and that responsibility takes them above Lord Govind. He said that next era and decade will be of education and knowledge. He inspired with example that Teachers should come out of syllabus and make effort for all around development of student.

On the eve of Teacher’s day, Gujarat State has started new tradition of honoring teachers offering best education at District level and Taluka level since last year. Under this effort 62 teachers at District level and 132 teachers at taluka level were honored. According to this new tradition best teacher at Taluka level is awarded Rs. Five thousand and Rs. 15 thousand at district level by State Government.

During this occasion, Education Minister Mr. Bhupendrasinh Chudasama in his welcome speech emphasized that teachers should make more efforts to maintain respect of their place in society.

On the occasion, Assembly Speaker Mr. Ramanlal Vora, State Minister Mr. Nanubhai Vasani, State education Minister Mr. Jaydrathsinh Parmar, State Transport Minister Mr. Vallabhbhai Kakdiya, Parliamentary Secretary Vibhavriben Dave, Education Principal Secretary Mr. N. Yuvago, Principal Secretary Mr. Pankaj Joshi, Higher Education Commissioner Mr. A. J. Shah along with many teachers remained present.
