Continuing the slew of developmental works in the state, Gujarat CM dedicates public welfare works worth worth Rs. 100 crore at Rajkot

Gujarat Chief Minister Smt Anandiben Patel dedicated and laid foundation stone of various public welfare works worth about Rs. 100 crore in Rajkot today during her day-long visit to the city.

On this occasion, CM Smt Patel laid foundation stone for second phase of Ring Road-2 of Kalavad road-Gondal road that will considerably smoothen the traffic and benefit citizens of nearby villages.

Consistently moving towards achieving goal of ‘Housing for All’, CM Smt Patel also dedicated 540 EWS and 336 LIG affordable houses for underprivileged people at Munjka Housing Scheme constructed under Mukhyamantri Gruh Yojana.

CM Smt Patel also dedicated a Ground Storage Reservoir having capacity of 25 lakh litre of water and distribution channel as part of Bedi Water Supply Project, developed with a view to further strengthen water supply network in Saurashtra, under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhya Mantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana. This Rs.2.18 crore project, based on Narmada water supply, is planned to meet water supply demand of next 30 years.

On this occasion, CM Smt Patel said that the State Government is focusing on providing civic facilities to improve the urban living standard of the citizens.
