CM Inaugurates Mahisagar District Court at Lunawada

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani today inaugurated different ten courts at Lunawada, headquarter of 28th newly established district Mahisagar in presence of Gujarat High Court Chief Justice R. Subhash Reddy. Along with this, CM Shri Rupani also laid foundation stone of new district court complex to be built up worth Rs. 33 crore.

CM Shri Rupani appreciated fast and satisfactorily functioning in state courts under the guidance of Chief Justice of State and also congratulated him for achievement of reduction in 35 lakhs pending cases to 18 lakhs. He added that 24 bills have been passed in recent assembly session related to amendment to different laws. He said that administration, judiciary, parliamentary arrangement, opposition and media should collectively take up this responsibility so that trust of people may become stronger in the system.

CM Shri Rupani said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, during his tenure has established beautiful workmanship and state government also continuing his efforts; made state of art Government offices according to corporate culture. Considering needs of coming 20 to 25 years, government has planned to develop infrastructural facilities.

He asked advocated groups to adopt positive approach so that common man and society can get good safety net, can have backing of law and we can create Ram Rajya. LokAdalats have become very useful in speedy and compromising disposal of cases. He also hinted that state government may adopt LokAdalat route for speedy disposal of cases related to employees and other government cases.

He said that with joint efforts by state administration, judiciary and Advocates, we should create an environment like that last man can get satisfactorily fast and appropriate justice.

On this occasion, State Law Minister Shri Pradipsinhjadeja, Road and Buildings Minister Shri Jaydradrathsinhji Parmar, High Court justice and Panchmahal district administrative Justice C. L. Soni, Panchmahal district Principal Judge Shri A. D. Oza, MLA Shri Hirabhai Patel, Law secretary of State Shri I. J. Vora, Gujarat High Court Registrar Shri P. R. Patel, ex-MPs, ex-MLAs, office bearers of bar association, district collectors were remained present.
