Chetak Commandoes  'Security Personnel' of the State reserved Police force – Vikramsinh Khatubha Parmar and Chimanbhai K Chaudhari met untimely death

Regarding the untimely death of the two of the security personnel employed in Chief Minister’s security and the aids receivable by their families state government spokespersons Health Minister Jay Narayan Vyas and Minister of State for Finance Saurabh Patel said that Gujarat government has always been sentient and sympathetic to the untimely death of any of its staff members.

An amount worth Rs.20 lakh is receivable to the heirs of both the security personnel of the state reserved police force – Vikramsinh Khatubha Parmar and Chimanbhai K Chaudhari, ministers said.

“Accidental death of both the jawans is truly an unfortunate event but the way the Opposition Leader sheds false tears is no way a humane approach”, ministers said. The fact is that Minister of State for Home and IG of Rajkot Range had rushed to the place of accident immediately on receiving the information of the death of Chetak commandos and personally looked into the affairs on the place, said ministers.

An amount about Rs.20 lakh is receivable to the heirs of both the commandos which are as under:

Rs.10,000 from the welfare fund as an assistance on death.

Rs. 1 lakh as Bandhutva Sahah Fund.

Rs.15 lakh under group accident insurance.

Pension as per the pension rules to the heirs of the commandos.

The heirs will get an amount around rupees four to six lakhs calculated as per the remaining years in the job of the commandos instead giving job to them on companionate ground as the directives of Gujarat High Court.

It was good if Opposition Leader had tried to get this information before demanding the aids of Rs.5 lakh, spokespersons said.
