CM asks homeopaths to
create an atmosphere
of trust
among people for the homeopathic treatment
Inaugurating
the national
homeopathy
conference
in Gandhinagar today
Chief Minister
Narendra Modi called upon homeopaths to create an atmosphere of trust among people for the
homeopathic treatment.
Even as the
homeopathic medicines are affordable and free from
side effects, homeopaths should create awareness regarding it among the people.
If the practitioners of homeopathy
themselves lack
the faith in
homeopathy, people can
not have trust
on it. Success stories of homeopathy should properly be put before the people,
he suggested.
There should
not be a question
of conflict
between allopathy, ayurveda and
homeopathy. All the three systems of treatment have some best things in them, he said.
Chief Minister said that
homeopathic medicines prove
very effective
in the case of teething
in children.
It is seen that the irritating teething process makes children extremely weak and
malnourished. It would be a great service if the homeopathy can be used for keeping strong
the immune system of a child during
teething process and thus preventing children from malnutrition. Regarding
this, he appealed
homeopathy association
to launch a drive for curbing
malnutrition.
The state government has made available Narmada’s potable
water to
the people and has also taken measures for making available the unpolluted air
and food. This has checked many diseases from spreading, he said.
Mr. Modi said
the society
has a pressing need for adequate
number of doctors. Considering this, the state government has increased the medical and engineering seats by
five-fold with a view
to create quality
human resource.
On the
occasion, the homeopaths donated a cheque of Rs.11,11,000 for the Chief Minister’s Kanya Kelavani
Nidhi.
In his welcome
address, Dr. Mohansinh Rajput, State President of the homeopathy council, gave
details of the council’s activities.
Chairman of Gopalak Nigam Dr. Sanjay Desai, Council Registrar Mr. Upadhyay and
homeopaths across the State
were present
on the occasion.
